  • Feeding Directions

    Sunglo Calf Grower is designed for developing calves prior to going on higher-energy Sunglo rations. At the beginning of the feeding period, calves on forage should be changed to Calf Grower for a 10- to 14-day period by gradually increasing the daily allotment of Calf Grower and decreasing forage until a full-feed intake of Calf Grower is reached. Continue to feed Calf Grower at a target daily intake of approximately 2.7 to 3% of bodyweight, divided into two or more feedings. For heifers, feed Calf Grower at a daily rate of 2 to 2.5% of bodyweight, divided into two or more equal feedings. Hay can be fed at the rate of 0.5% of bodyweight. Provide fresh, clean water at all times.
